Edmonson Hut

Edmonson Hut is a small corrugated-iron structure which seemed well weather-proofed.

Situation
nestled in a gully, to the west of the AAWT near Mt Nelse. It is located within a copse of trees on a dead-end walking track and so should be relatively sheltered in poor weather.
Coordinates

Structure
corrugated iron exterior, timber interior
Interior
fireplace, a table, and a sleeping loft
Toilet
on our last visit the toilet was standing but not operational
Water
water is available from a creek a short (150-200m) walk into the gully; it was flowing quite strongly when we visitied in January, despite the apparently small catchment.

January 2005
