The graph and table below show the extent to which wind creates the impression of a lower temperature on exposed skin. For example, if the air temperature is 10 degrees celcius (vertical axis), and the wind is blowing at 20kph (the second-darkest line, horizontal axis), then to exposed skin the temperature feels like five degrees.
