June 6th 2012
After sucsessfully photographing the transit 8 years ago, this time the weather threatened to hinder our observations. It was with only minutes to spare before 1st contact, that the Sun rose from behind a thick band of cloud into full view. We managed to capture some great images of Venus throughout the day, including some just before 3rd contact through light cloud. Photos coming soon.
